If it is not possible to book at the last minute for your hotel, then book as far out as six months (most hotels will not let you go farther out than this). Deals such as these often require you to place a deposit of at least seven days of stay against the reservation. Usually this deposit will only be refundable up to 50%. However, considering the savings can be as much as 70% over regular rate this is a reasonable risk to take.
