One-ball rally rolls through Budapest,
with a little help from Domino!
Guests may have noticed a rather unusual car parked by the hostel recently. Bettie the London Taxi Cab was the vehicle of choice for the One-ball rally, a charity tour overland from the UK to Turkey. With a meter ticking up the miles and the pounds to their targets (Istanbul and 5000 GBP for cancer charities), the team at the Domino Hostel were happy to help by providing beds for Dave Cook and his gallant band of fund raisers!
The gallant team of 4 are travelling to raise funds for the charities "everyman" and "AICR" and Warm-hearted backpackers are invited to make a contribution via the justgiving website (http://www.justgiving.com/oneballrally) However, the team also want to help raise awareness about testicular cancer. We want to encourage men to drop the macho act and go to a doctor with any symptoms" explained Dave Cook, the leader of the team.
